About Michael

Michael brings with him decades of experience in the non-profit and corporate sector. He currently serves as the Managing Director at IMPACT Silver Springs, a non-profit organization based in Maryland dedicated to advancing racial equity, justice, and liberation by working for change in individuals, communities, organizations, and systems.

Michael has an MBA with an emphasis in Nonprofit Management from the Heller School at Brandeis University. In 2010, he participated in the Nonprofit Roundtable’s Future Executive Directors Fellowship. Michael served on the board of Jews United for Justice for ten years, where he also served as the treasurer. Prior to his entry to non-profits, he was the Vice President at Fidelity and Director of Operations at deNovis. He is the current Board Treasurer for both Crossroads Community Food Network in Takoma Park, MD and CHI Centers in Silver Spring, MD.

 

In his role as Managing Director, Michael has demonstrated a capacity for strategic financial management, contracts management, and program management. Additionally, Michael works with the Senior Leadership Team and the entire staff to ensure organizational and program fidelity, and oversees IMPACT sports operations.
